Audio Software & Workflow

DSS Player for Mac

Manage your dictation files on Mac

DSS Player for Mac is a software that allows for easy playback, editing, and management of audio files on Mac computers. Connecting an Olympus Digital Voice Recorder or RecMic via USB expands the functions of the application, allowing for file downloading and direct recording to the computer. This Mac software also allows secretaries or transcriptionists to transcribe dictations with a compatible Olympus foot switch.

Download & Direct Recording

DSS Player for Mac allows you to easily download files for transcription, management or editing from your Olympus Professional Dictation Recorder. You can record and save your voice directly to your computer using your Olympus RecMic USB Microphone, or dictation recorder, and even control the recording functions (Rec, Stop etc..) using the buttons on your device. Just like when recording on your dictation recorder, you can edit an existing recording by overwriting or inserting voice.

The software also supports playback of Encrypted DSS Pro files and allows you to easily navigate a recording through Index Marks or Verbal Comments.
