3 New Olympus Lenses featuring Supersonic Wave Drive Technology
FourThirds System Standard Interchangeable Lenses Featuring Supersonic Wave Drive for quiet, ultra-fast autofocusing

17 October 2007: Olympus Imaging Corporation (President Masaharu Okubo) is pleased to announce that it will release three interchangeable lenses that comply with the FourThirds System Standard:

  • Olympus Zuiko Digital ED 12-60mm f2.8-4.0 SWD
  • Olympus Zuiko Digital ED 50-200mm f2.8-3.5 SWD
  • Olympus Zuiko Digital ED 14-35mm F2.0 SWD

Incorporating Olympus' newly developed, industry-leading Supersonic Wave Drive (SWD), these lenses offer quiet, ultra-fast autofocusing. In combination with the flagship E-3 Digital SLR camera, these lenses will allow photographers to take advantage of the world's fastest autofocusing speed.
