Olympus Releases FL-BK04 Flash Bracket and FL-BKM03 Twin Flash Bracket

Olympus Imaging Corporation (President: Masaharu Okubo) today announced the launch of the FL-BK04 Flash Bracket and FL-BKM03 Twin Flash Bracket. These new accessories for the Olympus E-System digital SLR cameras free the photographer to shoot with an external flash in Live View using a swivel screen and are scheduled to go on sale in Australia from April 2009. Pricing is yet to be announced.

Flash Bracket FL-BK04

  • Can be assembled in different combinations, allowing photographers to mount an externalflash on either the left or right side of the camera, enabling vertical flash shooting. The opening angle of the arm can be set in 45-degree increments to adjust the distance between the lens and flash
  • When the FL-50R is used, the side of the flash can be securely fixed to assure greater stability
  • An external flash can be mounted without interfering with the dual-axis variable LCD monitor. Enjoy hassle-free Live View shooting at any angle
  • The mounting height can be adjusted in five steps for versatile positioning

Twin Flash Bracket FL-BKM03

  • As the arm angle and flash position/angle can be freely adjusted, it is possible to enjoy flash shooting using any ZUIKO DIGITAL lens including ultra-wide-angle lenses
  • The bracket arm can be folded down for storage or transportation
  • Dual-flash macro shooting is possible without interfering with the dual-axis variable LCD monitor, which really comes in handy when macro shooting with free-angle Live View
  • When used together with the FL-50R/FL-36R Electronic Flash, this makes a wireless remote flash system with dual-flash possible without requiring complicated wiring
