Mju 7000
The ultimate camera for the technically astute shooter who will not compromise on slim styling, the Mju 7000 boasts a number of advanced features including powerful 7x optical zoom built into an ultra-slim body. With its compact, slim body, photographers can take this camera with them wherever they go, carrying it in a purse or pocket, and take advantage of its ability to take impressive close-up pictures anytime, anywhere. High quality images are assured by the high-definition 12-megapixel CCD and the proprietary Olympus TruePic III image processing engine.
By incorporating a 7x optical zoom lens, the Mju 7000 takes the title to be the world's slimmest, smallest body in its class.
When a human subject is photographed, the 3x zoom can capture the full body from the knees up, the 5x zoom can take a medium close-up chest shot, while the 7x zoom can close in on the face to fill the image.

3.0-inch large HyperCrystal II LCD monitor with animated 3D icons The slim body consist of of large Hyper Crystal LCD that is easy to use with the help of 3D animations to make operation easier and more comfortable.Now whilst with the wide viewing angle now even more than one person can view the shot.
Even in a dim lit room it is easy to use with the help of an illuminated control section. Also included is 21 scene modes and a guidance section that will assist the user with a step by step sequence of items that need to be adjusted to get exactly the shot they want, and a Comparison Window for checking the effects of exposure and colour tone controls before actual shooting.
HDMI connector for HDTV-compatible output
The Mju 7000 contains an HDMITM connection for output of images in high definition onto an LCD or Plasma TV. An optionally available HDMITM cable allows the camera to be connected to HDTV equipment with an HDMI input so camera images can be viewed on a high-quality HDTV display.

Beauty mode to enhance the appearance of the human face
The Mju 7000 offers a new Beauty mode which brightens human skin by one tone and provides a softer, smoother texture to create a more attractive, impressive appearance, and is applicable in either image capture mode or playback mode. When Beauty mode is used in picture playback, it makes the reproduced faces more vivid by featuring the eyes more prominently and enhancing the light entering the pupils as if an eye catch-light was used. Beauty mode is based on the face detection function and does not alter the brightness of the background.
