When used with the E-330, the PT-E02 offers the first Live View function on a digital SLR through its 2.5" LCD. It is waterproof up to a depth of 60 metres. With its durable, high quality polycarbonate construction, it protects the camera from water while also cushioning it from knocks and bumps on land.
With the World's first live view function in the E-330, gone are the days when you would have difficulties taking unique underwater shots with a Digital SLR camera. With previous Digital SLR's, the view finder would need to be utilised making it somewhat difficult, wearing a mask, and having the thickness of the housing to contend with some photos may have suffered.
The TTL flash connector allows optional use of the Olympus FL-20 & FL-36 TTL flash systems with the PFL-01 & PFL-E01 flash housing. Four interchangeable lens ports allow the optional use of 7-14mm, 8mm Fisheye, 14-45mm, 11-22 or 14-54mm and the 50mm Macro lenses.
