    Olympus is proud to announce the addition of the Mju-1000 to its lineup of stylish, SPLASHPROOF (all-weather) Mju series digital compact cameras. The Mju-1000 also offers Night-proof photography, with the highest light sensitivity of any currently available digital compact camera. This high sensitivity enables the use of fast shutter speeds that help prevent blurring caused by subject motion, and camera shake when shooting night scenes and other subjects in low light.

    In addition, the Mju-1000 has a Perfect Fix button that assures carefree shooting by correcting three of the most common problems in photography: camera shake, backlighting, and red-eye.
