How To Have Your Product Serviced

Step 1. Download The Repair Form

Download and fill out the Repairs form and print two copies of the form. Send one in with your product and keep one for your records.

Step 2. Prepare Your Product For Sending

Tips: Do not include any accessories e.g. film, carry case, batteries, memory card, software, when sending you camera for repair unless the specific problem relates to your memory card.

  • Include the completed Repairs Form for your chosen repairer 
  • If the repair is under warranty please include a copy of your purchase receipt
  • If required please include any sample copies of images related to the problem

Step 3. Send To An Olympus Authorised Repairer

Tips: Please be aware that your chosen Repairer will not be responsible for any impact/shipping damage that may occur during the shipping process, so pack your item safely and securely as possible.

  • Use a strengthened cardboard box and ample packing material
  • Do not send in an envelope
  • Put your return address on the outside of the packaging
  • Insure your package
  • Choose a carrier that offers package tracking or delivery confirmation to the nominated repairer

Step 4. Your Olympus Product Arrives For Repair

Non Warranty Repairs
For all Non Warranty repairs an assessment will be made to determine the cost of repair. This will be provided by your nominated Repairer of choice.

Warranty Repairs
Depending on the nature of the repair and the type of product, your product will be repaired free of charge or replaced under the terms of the Olympus Warranty Agreement.

Step 5. Your Olympus Product Is Sent Back To You

What Happens?

It takes up to approximately 20 working days (from the date warranty product is received or the cost of repair is approved) for a repair to be processed and sent back.

The repaired product will be sent to your nominated delivery address together with a Service Tax Invoice confirming the repair and your payment if applicable.

If you have an enquiry about your Olympus product already under repair, please contact your nominated repairer and have your job reference or serial number ready.
