Its 2.0 maximum aperture enables easy macro photography in low-light, and a floating lens design means that it functions superbly as a bright aperture portrait lens in fashion photography and professional portraiture use. This lens includes an ED element for sharp, brilliant colour images, and provides a maximum magnification of 1:2 (half life size) - equivalent to life size (1:1) in the 35mm film format.
